What is the iTero 3D scanner?
iTero intraoral scanners are designed to deliver quick and reliable digital impressions, accurately representing your teeth and bite.
The iTero scanner can help you visualize how your teeth may look at the end of Invisalign treatment, which can motivate you to stay on track. Additionally, this device allows us to monitor your progress throughout the process.
The iTero Process
We use the intraoral scanner to take a complete 3D scan of your mouth. We then project this image on the iTero screen to show you what your teeth look like from all angles.
We then use iTero's Smile Simulator to show you a complete rendering of what your smile could look like once treatment is complete. These scans are also used to create your custom aligners.
